Dr. Ivan Aguilera
Dr. Aguilera is a foot and ankle specialist, who specializes in a wide range of foot and ankle deformities, including infections, trauma, foot deformities, wound care, and diabetic foot care. Dr. Aguilera is board certified in the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Aguilera has a Bachelors in Science in Biology from the University of California, Irvine. He completed his degree in Podiatric Medicine from the California School of Podiatric Medicine, which is part of Samuel Merritt University, in Oakland, CA. He completed a 3-year Podiatric Medicine and Surgery residency program at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, in 2016. During that time, Dr. Aguilera had received extensive training in wound care, infections, diabetic care, and surgery of the foot and ankle. Dr. Aguilera was awarded Resident of the Year by his peers and attendings in 2016.
