Toenail Fungus infections are unsightly and embarrassing – the nail becomes yellow, thick and hard to cut. Toenail fungus infection is very common; it affects about 15% of the U.S. population. Nail fungus infection can be very difficult to treat. Until recently, the most common treatment for toenail fungus was taking pills that might cause liver toxicity and therefore require periodic blood tests. Great visit! Dr. Golshan is so kind! I was so scared to come in because I didn’t know what to expect as far as my procedure but he was very reassuring and answered all 50 of my questions lol. He even gave me a laser treatment in replace of a specific medication I can’t take because I’m a young breastfeeding mother. So I thought that was very kind, I left very happy and comfortable knowing that my problem will soon heal up.
